We are still buzzing from the energy, insights, and inspiration shared during our first-ever World-Ready Employability Workshop, held on May 3, 2025—and we are excited to share all the highlights with you!

Organised by The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Zambia, the workshop brought together Award participants, young professionals, and experts for a day of learning, growth, and empowerment—all aimed at helping young people become truly world-ready.

What We Covered

Hosted at Crucible Lusaka, the workshop equipped participants with practical tools and strategies, including:

  • Navigating AI and applicant tracking systems (ATS) when applying for jobs
  • Understanding workplace professionalism and expectations
  • Building effective CVs and digital profiles
  • Mastering communication skills in professional settings

Participants left feeling more confident and equipped for their next steps—and that is exactly what the Award is all about: empowering young people to succeed in life, not just school.
