On 25th October, 2024 David Kaunda National STEM School celebrated its Graduation Day, marking a significant milestone for students, teachers, and parents alike. Adding to the significance of the occasion, The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Zambia had the privilege of recognizing participants who successfully completed their Bronze level.
This year’s ceremony was graced by the presence of Mrs. Rita Milner, a member of the Board for The Duke of Edinburgh’s International Award Zambia. Mrs. Milner presented the Bronze Awards to the recipients, commending them for their dedication and perseverance. In her speech, she highlighted the importance of balancing academic achievement with personal development, praising the graduates for their commitment to the Award’s principles of service, skill-building, physical recreation, and adventurous journey. Her words left an inspiring message, encouraging the students to aim even higher as they consider progressing to the Silver and Gold levels.
A key element of the participants’ success was the unwavering support and mentorship provided by their Award Leaders. These dedicated leaders guided the participants through each stage of their journey, offering advice, encouragement, and direction. The Award Leaders were instrumental in helping participants set goals, stay motivated, and overcome challenges. Their efforts ensured that the participants not only met the requirements of the Bronze level but also gained valuable life skills and experiences that will benefit them for years to come.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the Bronze Award recipients and the entire graduating class of David Kaunda National STEM School. Together, you have shown that excellence is not just about academic success but also about personal growth and community impact.
